The bar and comfy booths are upstairs for hangin’ out, the dancing is downstairs, and you can totally do this.
TO GET THERE on Public Transport:
From Powell St. Bart, take the Powell-Mason Cable Car to Washington & walk 3 minutes to 916 Grant st. Done. OR to get there from the mission just take the 12 folsom and it lets u off a block away! and its fast — takes 1 tall boy to get from 22nd st. to Chinatown.
To BIKE THERE:
If you’re biking from the Mission or surrounding areas - you can take Mission to S. Van Ness, to Market. Turn left onto Grant and follow Grant all the way to Chinatown. There’s a hill for a block from Bush to Pine that you might need to walk up, and a slight incline from Sacramento to Clay that you will barely notice. The rest is flat and a really easy ride!
